What happened? Papa Murphys used to be tasty. Now, it tastes hardly better than frozen. It's hardly worth it. Not even on tuesday.
Also, I'm pretty sure the girl at the cash register and half the staff was super stoned, When I got my pizza around 3. I was the only customer in the place, and it took the girl 3 minutes to realize I was there, even though she was only 5 ft away, giggling with another girl.
Placed order online and was given a 30-minute wait. Arrived at the store after 20 minutes. OK, so I'm 10 minutes early. It's 3:15 in the afternoon and the place is dead. No customers. NO STAFF. A sleepy-eyed young girl drags herself out from the back. She doesn't speak. "I'm here to pick up my online order." Still no words from her. She begins the Herculean task of making my pizza. After 5 minutes and countless yawns, the monolithic task is completed. And finally she speaks. "Here you go." Such eloquence.
I begin to wonder how to go online and cancel my tip...but that would require more effort on my part than was put into making my pizza.
Moral of the story: I'll go back to Papa Murphy's because their pizza is really good; but this sloth of a person just cost other workers of any future tips. IMO, if you want to make tips in the food service industry, GO WAIT TABLES.
Gave them another chance after a few weeks. (I REALLY LIKE their pizza, so I figured, "Why not?" A MUCH better experience this time around. I'm guessing that the previous experience was an anomaly.
I went there last night and one of the employees walked all the way to the back with a marijuana blunt in his ear. Quality of pizza tasted horrible and old. Another time I walked by there to go to dollar tree and the employees were outside, taking pictures of the sunset and one of the employees (the heavy set lady) said, “move ho, you’re in my camera view.” I literally was shocked and disappointed because I frequent here all the time. I need to speak with the owner please and thank you
Be careful on their website. I obviously duplicated my order and rather than call or investigate they delivered $90 worth of pizza. After speaking to the “manager”, “who just works there” I was told it was my problem. If I wanted any kind of refund I needed to return the pizzas. And of course they would be thrown away. I did return and got a refund. Wonderful customer service!!! What a joke. There is another Papa Mutphy’s not too far from me and will only order from them in the future
Super weird. We showed up on Sunday night at 7:30, and the high school kid said we are closed! Thought that was weird, so checked the website, sure enough open till 8pm
Guess he didn't want to his job!
Bummer!
